some belated birthday photos from the last few weeks: we celebrated natalie’s first birthday! grace made amazingly cute cupcakes. aphrodite’s was so good, we went back for louisa’s birthday brunch and birthday pie. mmmm.

recent fun with friends over food: micah’s (aka deeders) first birthday at ningtu. angie cutting the huge chocolate birthday cake, which was delicious! lunch with natalie (aka bbnat) and her mom and pop at aphrodite’s. mmmm organic.

chinese new year dinner at aunt agnes. we enjoyed a huge spread of food with the entire family. lai see… hong bao… red envelopes galore!

it’s always wonderful to see family again over the holidays. dinner at kirin. like uncle, like nephew. grandparents.

on christmas day we went to cousin elizabeth’s home for karaoke and food. elizabeth cooked and baked up a storm; my favourites were the lavender shortbread cookies and crab cakes. also impressive was the vast amount of meat provided.

t’was a busy week of christmas parties… on christmas eve we hosted some family friends for dinner and enjoyed chef helen’s delicious food which included a warm scallop salad and rack of lamb: baby feeling satisfied after her christmas eve meal… not sure why (except that maybe we’re impatient), but the T household opens gifts read more »

it’s almost christmas and the tree is up. my parents’ artificial christmas tree has become a tradition in itself; it’s older than i am and truly vintage with it’s wooden trunk and individual colour-coded wire branches. i remember when i was a kid and accidentally broke the base of the tree. i thought i had read more »
