over the weekend we attended tayden’s fourth birthday party! and according to other parents, first of many kiddie birthday parties to come. tayden enjoying his dragon fruit and cake: fathers and daughters:

after church on sunday, we went to granville island so helen could buy groceries for dinner. it was the perfect opportunity to take baby out in the stroller. beautiful fruit stand she was still in her lion costume and had a lot of admirers… someone even asked to take a photo of her! stay tuned read more

we brought rebecca to meet her great-grandma (and only great-grandparent) last week. it was a very special visit and amazing to see my grandma respond and smile at her, despite her dementia. four generations!
we were so glad joe’s family could all be in town to meet rebecca. she got to spend time with her cousins from california and grandpa L from hong kong. jennifer, priscilla and jadon constructed an amazing diaper cake for rebecca: a cake made of diapers and other baby goodies, topped with a hello kitty. read more
it’s hard to believe, but rebecca is already one month old! she is healthy and changing almost every day as we watch her gain more awareness and personality. this last week she has blessed me with relatively decent sleep at night and good feeds, all in preparation for the one month “moon yuet” dinner celebration read more
