i went on a women’s retreat with our church here in chapel hill which took place in emerald isle, NC. the short road trip was a lot of fun, including a lunch stop at wilber’s barbecue for some authentic eastern style north carolina bbq and a slice of americana.
pork bbq with coleslaw in a sandwich. it’s hard to tell from the photo, but it was really juicy. kind of tangy and spicy.
