we had fun with chinese new year decorations this year, which joe was able to bring back from vancouver. the holiday is pretty foreign for people here in nc, and so R and i were able to bring chinese new year things to her school and teach her class about it, including giving out hong bao and cooking dumplings for everyone. ironically, i now know more about chinese new year than i did growing up!
