we finally checked out kidzu, a children’s museum in chapel hill. yay for free sunday afternoons!

the traveling teacher’s show

there is a terrific free weekly children’s program at our local mall, done by two teachers who have a passion for teaching about recycling and the environment. after the story/song/teaching time, you get to make a craft to bring home. here rebecca is working on her lion (with some glue support from mommy of course). read more »

went back to weathervane restaurant (local favourite for southern food) for lunch. i had a BLT featuring fried green tomatoes. enjoying her sweet potato fries.
