today we participated in an easter egg hunt, hosted by the chapel hill preservation society at the historic horace williams house. we were there with many other children from the community, all ready with their baskets.
after a countdown, it was survival of the fittest. poor rebecca, left in the dust!
she didn’t seem to mind though, and happily trotted around with her one egg.
a wary fascination of the easter bunny.
later on, she “found” more eggs! and added two more to her collection…
it was a great morning, but apparently egg-hunting is exhausting work.
