weekend retreat

our church held an overnight retreat in ‘Sunshine Cove’, Michigan. although the time was short, it was a nice break from the city. we played… we learned… and we relaxed.

shopping stella

last week i spent a day in yaletown with liz, julie and stella. stella was particularly excited with the shopping and doggie treats. nice bag. what a lucky dog.

hot pot bellies

more seafood and snow

this week we had the chance to have dinner with paul and larina, who were in town for a few days. despite yet another blizzard outside, we made it to fonda del mar (our newest favorite restaurant) for some mexican seafood.

day in indiana

we all drove down to indiana for the day to visit my aunt, cousin and family. they have the most awesome collection of leggo, including an extensive star wars collection. can you see jar jar binks?… then we had a nice dinner together…it’s always good to spend time with family!
