a morning at granville island

community campfire

before heading to vancouver for our summer visit, we spent time with our church community group fellowshipping over food and then a campfire set up right in the driveway. roasted marshmallows for dessert!

animal kingdom

we spent day two at Animal Kingdom, which was a great change in pace and scenery. a highlight was definitely the kilimanjaro safari ride. going down the fastpass lane… we saw so many animals, the giraffes walked right up next to the car! then we explored more trails which had even more animals to see. read more »

the happiest place on earth

we planned to spend three days in the theme parks. day one we went to magic kingdom of course! hardest part was getting there. we opted to drive rather than shuttle from the hotel, then walk, then ferry. pretty hot and crowded by the time we got there. not too happy yet… straight to fantasyland read more »
