hong kong family trip (part two)

On Wednesday, five of us (my dad, my brother, Priscilla, Jadon, and me) went via speed boat to a restaurant on Lamma Island for seafood dinner. All of us, though, spent some time at the harbor in Tsim Sha Tsui before the boat left: When we got there, the restaurant itself was outdoor (under a read more »

hong kong family trip (part one)

Last week I had the chance to be in Hong Kong with my family: my parents, my brother Derek and his family, and my aunt Agnes. why so negative? – part 2

Sherwin found this sign while we were walking along the Stanley beach area of Hong Kong island. It gives an interesting view of the cultural differences… especially the one about “no playing of remote-controlled model car” (click to see larger image).

hong kong trip – mar 2007

Jet-lagged but hungry, we made our first stop for food. The restaurant had autographs by various Hong Kong celebrities all over the walls. On our first full day, we started with exploring Kowloon, found jumbo size lemon Vita and hung out with Charlie over coffee and Bruce on the Avenue of Stars at Victoria Harbour. read more »
