we made a trip to chinatown to stock up on some chinese food goods, including emergency food aka frozen dumplings (on sale for four packs for $7.99!…so we got eight). we also stopped for lunch and had some noodles.

we received the biggest serving of noodles we had ever seen. joe managed to finish his, while i ate only half of mine and brought the rest home, which then supplemented our dinner. two meals for one…not bad.

holy large number two, batman. that bowl looks like it’s wider than joey’s entire body, which is pretty darn big cuz joey’s pretty freaking ripped.
new shirt there, joey?
there aren’t any horizontal lines on this t-shirt so it can’t be ‘new’.
dude, its still a collar shirt.
the noodles look yummy. making me hungry. were they good or did it make you miss home?
wow, that looks pretty good. what did you guys order?
looks mainlandish? am I correct?
wrong, it’s pho. joe got standard pho, i got a spicy beef flank…i know my noodles are different. the restaurant is chinese and tries to serve every possible asian dish, which typically is a warning signal…but this place is usually reliably good. we always stop for lunch here whenever we go to chinatown. and they make really good mango slushies!
