we went to ayr mount, a historic plantation house in hillsborough. we didn’t go inside for the tour, but we enjoyed the perfect fall weather with a walk on its hiking trail called “poet’s walk”.
we found a pretty pond and a lot of crunchy leaves to crunch.
back to the house. next time we’ll have to see the inside.
