paris 2009: window shopping

i love exploring a city by walking; that way you can find more unexpected things and take a detour whenever you want. while going down the “Grand Boulevards”, i found les passages couverts …indoor shopping arcades built in the 19th century. there were a variety of shops like specialty cookies and candies, furniture, arts and read more »

lunch party

helen hosted a luncheon at her new apartment. as usual, the food was delicious and plentiful. time is always short when we’re in vancouver, so i felt lucky to see so many of our friends all at once! i was especially excited to meet little madeleine for the first time… so cute!

adrian and jenny’s wedding
