here are a few pics from around the university of north carolina. the school is really old… students traditionally earn good luck when they drink from The Old Well on the first day of classes.
ah yes, trader joe’s. back in chicago, i never had the good fortune of having one convenient enough to use regularly, but now i’ve quickly come to love our local trader joe’s. it is quite literally a two minute drive and we certainly go there a lot. more pumpkins. they even hosted a little halloween read more
the warm summer weather is finally moving on. i guess i shouldn’t complain, but personally, there’s nothing better than a crisp sunny fall day. we enjoyed the fall colours on one of the trails scattered throughout chapel hill. this one is close to where we live and it’s paved, which is perfect for the stroller.
grandma L knit a really cute pumpkin hat for Rebecca. we love it… except it’s bit tricky getting her to wear it and sit still for longer than 2 seconds. oh well. our little pumpkin!
