we had a pho craving and went to “au petit cafe” to fill it. of course since we were there, we also had to order a vietnamese sub. someone reaching for the melt-in-your-mouth sub. “what are you lookin’ at?” and a decent bowl of pho.

my second mother’s day. this year i get to hear her say “mama!”.
the term is over and joe has been finishing up with marking exams. luckily he has a little teaching assistant to help out.

the warm summer weather is finally moving on. i guess i shouldn’t complain, but personally, there’s nothing better than a crisp sunny fall day. we enjoyed the fall colours on one of the trails scattered throughout chapel hill. this one is close to where we live and it’s paved, which is perfect for the stroller.
