rock star!

we’ve been introduced to ‘rock band’. i’m a bit embarassed to say exactly how many hours we spent playing with the game over the last few evenings, but i’ve developed new respect for the 10 year old chinese kid on ‘ellen’ who played the top level guitar hero song flawlessly. here we are, novices. first read more »

presidents day

today was apparently “presidents day”, so it seemed somewhat appropriate to think back to our roadtrip through mount rushmore, south dakota, on our way to chicago from vancouver. hard to believe that was a year and a half ago. for anyone interested, the memorial features (from left to right) washington, jefferson, roosevelt, and lincoln. we read more »
