diy lampshade

four years

we celebrated our fourth wedding anniversary a couple of days ago with a home-cooked meal (courtesy joe), complete with our non-alcoholic drinks and a rose picked from the garden. it’s hard to believe how quickly time has passed. we are thankful for how God leads and protects, and for the big and small blessings we read more »

joe’s brother derek and family were visiting for the week from california. one beautiful day we went to granville island and had lunch at “go fish”, the outdoor fish n’ chips shack. i’ve actually been craving it for awhile now. the line up was long, but it was worth it!

moving week

baby shower

my wonderful friends at HPAC threw me a baby shower last weekend. i felt very blessed to be able to spend time with them, especially during my last week here in chicago. thank you for all the gifts and adorable outfits… this baby is already getting spoiled. thanks especially to the hostesses lisa and shawna!

father’s day brunch

my parents are in chicago this week to help us out with the move back to vancouver. we took a break with a nice father’s day brunch at sola, one of our favorite restaurants. my aunt kathleen was also able to drive up from indiana and spend the day with us.
