we spent canada day at granville island together with jp, louisa and ichiro. listened to some jazz… watched a parade… and waved some flags! Happy Canada Day!!

we picked up a few good finds at the vancouver college fair last month, including a vintage “dumbo at the circus” book. yay dumbo!
our little cupcake is nine months old today. loves her gator, and has three teeth and counting.
happy birthday matia! amazing how time flies… boo boo was only 6 weeks old when we got married. and now we’re celebrating her fifth birthday with rebecca! we joined a small family celebration at “spicy court”. make a wish! jump dee dee, jump!
i forgot to post these pics from last month from our visit to see julie and liz. our snacks were both delicious and beautiful. our babies, stella and rebecca.
we drove up to whistler for a couple of days and had a mini-vacation. dinner at an irish pub. i had a “steak and guinness pie”, which was as big as my head. an easy hike to lost lake. and a visit to the olympic rings.
my first mother’s day! helen and i joined forces and made breakfast featuring fresh scones for everyone. happy mothers!
