summer is over, which means we’re flying home to chapel hill. this time she got her own seat!
unfortunately our second leg was delayed, and so our 4 hour layover in chicago was extended to more than five hours! happily for me, she napped for a couple of hours, which meant i could enjoy a tortas sandwich from the rick bayless restaurant.
after many snacks, i was feeling a bit desperate about how to kill time and so i was overjoyed to see a sign for the children’s museum. killed one hour of time there!
