one week has passed since we’ve moved to chapel hill. we’re relatively settled in and slowly getting to know the area. high on the priority list was figuring out where to buy groceries, in particular where to buy all our asian stuff, especially since there is no nearby chinatown. joe found a few promising options online and we went to check them out.
introducing “li-ming’s global mart”. impressive store front… we were getting excited…

there was a small food court where we had lunch. food was mediocre. but we were pleasantly surprised with the rest of it: produce looked fresh, familiar brands, good selection. check out the vita.

a full cart with all the necessities.

we’ll meet again, pikachu.

after that, we decided there was no point in visiting the other smaller stores. noodles on the menu tomorrow!

bibi’s getting the hang of riding in the shopping cart.
kind of. however she twists her body around to face front so that only one leg is hanging through the holes. i have to hang on to her!
Wow! Now you are in N.C. Sounds like a great place to settle for awhile. Hope you are all doing well!
