we’ve been married five whole years! we went out on a proper date while grandma and grandpa T babysat. first we had dinner at “kitsilano daily kitchen”, a restaurant which serves a different menu each day based on fresh ingredients from the market. we splurged with the culinary adventure: a 5 course meal plus dessert!
organic beet salad with prawns
sturgeon caviar on a potato pancake and quail egg
mushroom risotto with morels
we also had scallops with an avocado sauce, and roasted pheasant. mmMMMMmmmm. after a delicious and leisurely meal, we watched “cowboys and aliens” on its opening night. it was pretty entertaining… the title pretty much sums it up! happy anniversary to us!
