yes, big brother is always watching. we love our video monitor which provides endless hours of entertainment. thanks elizabeth and aunt agnes! getting some tummy time:

visit to great-grandma

we brought rebecca to meet her great-grandma (and only great-grandparent) last week. it was a very special visit and amazing to see my grandma respond and smile at her, despite her dementia. four generations!

alphabet article

The Oriental Institute Museum at the University of Chicago has a new special exhibit on the invention(s) of writing. queen of her castle

sometimes rebecca likes to sit propped up on the nursing pillow, like a little throne. she is certainly quickly becoming queen of this castle and we are her humble subjects. sitting with her little friends: plotting her next move:

giving thanks

doctor visits

going to the doctor in her comfy carseat. falls asleep and loves resting her hands on top of the seatbelt. getting her one month check with dr. J, our awesome family doctor. growing along that 10th percentile, yeah!
