the view of the mountains when you fly into the city; i’m always a bit surprised at how big and impressive they are. cherry blossoms; they make me smile and want to prance around.

meet stella, a one and a half pound maltese-yorkie puppy (and her lovely owner julie!). about the same size as a stuffed animal, except cuter. she could sit in my hand, and we all know how small that is! i’m generally not a big dog person, but lately i’ve been meeting the sweetest canines. i’ve noticed a number of friends getting puppies…not sure if it’s a pseudo-biological clock thing.

Sherwin found this sign while we were walking along the Stanley beach area of Hong Kong island. It gives an interesting view of the cultural differences… especially the one about “no playing of remote-controlled model car” (click to see larger image).
