i’m having a good day. i didn’t have any work scheduled, so there was time to go get my very loud and dysfunctional car alarm taken out. then i baked a couple cakes with my mom. then we met my dad for a fish n’ chips lunch, after which we had a nice walk around granville island. and the day isn’t over yet…
sho! yaaaaaaaaaaaaay–no more waiting for the 5x5sec=25 sec crazy car alarm. it’s drizzling wet snow and -8 deg including wind chill back out east.. enjoy balmy vancouver whilst you can!!!
yes i’m very happy. but now i’m so conditioned to wait for the 25 secs that it feels very weird to just shut off the engine and get out. i keep expecting the alarm to go off and then have to run away.
